Would you know what to do? These 3 tips can make the difference between life and death. You wanna pay close attention as Steve Kardian, a law enforcement veteran, self-defense expert and author of "The New Superpower For Women" gives you what might be the best 3 tips of your life.
If you find yourself at a public place, whether it's a school, club, mall, concert, you have to stall this, when a active shooter situation starts, the shooter has only one goal and that's to kill as many people as possible in the shortest amount of time. There is no bargaining, there is no reasoning, he is there to kill!

We've all seen the Hollywood movies that got us so accustomed to the effects that are the opposite of real. We've also seen the real effects at Fort Lauderdale Airport when cameras captured the shooter right before he pulled out a gun and started firing. When the shooting started, people actually froze in place and then hit the ground, but the people who knew what to do ran up the stairs away from the shooting.
“Forget everything you've seen on TV and in the Hollywood movies, this is real life.”
You’ll either Run, hide or barricade, or you're gonna fight back for your life.
TIP 1: RUN
If you hear something that sounds like gunfire, don't wait, trust your instincts. Move immediately! Stay off the shooter's X, about 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM, run in the opposite direction and keep running until you no longer hear shots TIP 2: HIDE OR BARRICADE If you can't run, hide or barricade, you can hide behind the curtains in the movie theater, or lock yourself in a room, barricade the door and the windows if any with as much stuff as you can and use your body as a shield to prevent the shooter from coming in the room. The shooter will not breakdown any doors or search for hiding spots, he is looking for the masses and that's why time will be on your side. TIP 3: FIGHT If you can't run, hide or barricade, You're gonna have to fight back. First thing you do when you fight back is go for the gun. If you come off on the shooter's side you're gonna grab the gun, bring your elbow over the gun and take the weight off of that near foot and drop the shooter with the gun to the ground. Once on the ground you can use blunt force trauma like an elbow to the face or a strike with the gun (aka pistol whipping). THROW THE GUN AWAY, DO NOT TAKE IT WITH YOU WHEN YOU FLEE. Because if the police see you holding a gun, YOU MAY WELL BE SHOT! Keep in mind, the key to safety is creating that blueprint, a plan of action for mostly anything that can go wrong. Whenever you walk into a public venue locate all the exits, stay out of the public crowds. If you follow the blueprint you increase your chances all the time. Please share these tips with your friends and family. We could all become victims one day. By Kyle Edwards, writer, publisher, editor at Huzclique Mag Media Inc.
